Welcome, I am so happy that you have found my site! Here is a little about me and my massage practice, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions! :

I became Licensed Massage Therapist in June of 2015 after graduating from Asheville’s Center of Massage and Natural Health and started out working in local 5 star spas, focusing on deep tissue massage from the get go. In 2017 I began my studies of Thai bodywork with Michael Sitzer’s lovely courses in Asheville. Leaning into my Thai bodywork studies piqued an interest in Thai medical theory and herbalism as it relates to bodywork. In 2019 I started studying Thai medical theory with Naj Jacobson and eventually her teacher, Tevijjo Yogi in person and later diving deep in 2020 at home with an ongoing online studies with Tevijjo and his other students all over the world.

Today I offer both Thai body work & Deep Tissue, Myofacial massage and both of these modalties have influenced each other in my practice. For example I may use some of my Deep Tissue techniques in a Thai massage and with table massage I am constantly utilizing stretches and body mechanics that I learned from Thai. Thai herbalism and a Thai medical framework of understanding the body is interwoven in all of my practice. I hold the spiritual practice I learned from Thai of Metta and approach everyone I work with in loving-kindness. 10 years in practice as well has helped me develop my intuition around bodies and be perceptive to subtle physical imbalances that I can then work with clients on with the goal of alleviating pain and finding a physical and psychological sense of harmony. I enjoy working with clients over time on specific goals, muscular injuries- chronic and or acute.

In my life outside of massage I am a mother to a feisty 10 year old child, two wild dogs & a cat. We love gardening and playing outside, making art, traveling to fun places and spending time with our friends and community. I am Western North Carolina born and raised and happy to call these mountains home. We also have a connection and family in Correze, France. Oui! Je parle Francis aussi!
